Avaya launches IP Office product for SMBs
Manila - April 24, 2009 - Enterprise communications company Avaya recently launched its new IP Office product targeted at small and midsize business (SMB), supporting business imperatives such as cost saving, mobility, productivity and the need for growth. Edgar Doctolero, country director of Avaya Philippines, said the new IP office is designed for SMBs with less than 10 users to 100 users yet with the capacity to accommodate up to 200 users in case of business expansion. "This new product gives Filipino entrepreneurs an opportunity to build their own contact centers at a low start-up cost," Doctolero said. "With IP Office, SMBs can get the same benefits the large enterprises gain from IP telephony." Doctolero said return on investment (ROI) on the new Avaya solution is realized in addressing the mobility challenges for SMBs. "The solution provides unified communication, it can be integrated with cell phones," he said. "And since SMBs can start their own call centers, IP Office enables them to be more competitive against large business competitors. They can now have a well-distributed workforce and be more productive." Doctolero said the Philippines is the first country in ASEAN to avail of IP Office. It was launched in Makati City in Luzon and Cebu City in Visayas. |
